Gold Coffin of Nedjemankh announces to be returnfrom the U.S. to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) in Cairo

It was pirated from Egypt’s Minya locale during the nation’s 2011 upheaval, and shipped through the United Arab Emirates to Germany and afterward France. In July 2017, New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art obtained the ancient rarity from a craftsmanship vendor. The casket is worth $4 million and once held the remaining parts of persuasive priest Nedjemankh.
